مرحبا (Marhaba) — Hello
السلام عليكم (As-salamu alaykum) — Peace be upon you (formal)
صباح الخير (Sabah al-khayr) — Good morning
مساء الخير (Masa al-khayr) — Good evening
مع السلامة (Ma'a as-salama) — Goodbye

Introducing yourself:

اسمي... (Ismi...) — My name is...
أنا من... (Ana min...) — I am from...
تشرفنا (Tasharrafna) — Nice to meet you

Pronunciation

مرحبا	Mar-HA-ba	Stress on the second syllable; the "h" is breathy
السلام عليكم	As-sa-LA-mu a-LAY-kum	The most common greeting; reply with "Wa alaykum as-salam"
صباح الخير	Sa-BAH al-KHAYR	The "kh" is a guttural sound like clearing your throat
