على اليمين ('ala al-yamin) — on the right
على اليسار ('ala al-yasar) — on the left
على طول ('ala tul) — straight ahead

Grammar tip

Idafa (construct state): To say "the door of the house", Arabic links nouns: باب البيت (bab al-bayt). The first noun loses its definite article.
