Deny	to say something is not true	He denied the accusation.
Suggest	to propose an idea	She suggested leaving early.
Warn	to tell of danger	They warned us about the storm.
Insist	to demand firmly	He insisted on paying.

Tenses usually shift back: "I am tired" → He said he was tired.
