Shopping phrases:

多少钱？(Duōshao qián?) — How much?
太贵了！(Tài guì le!) — Too expensive!
便宜一点 (Piányí yīdiǎn) — A little cheaper
我买了 (Wǒ mǎi le) — I'll buy it
有没有...？(Yǒu méiyǒu...?) — Do you have...?

Measure words for shopping:

件(jiàn) for clothes, 双(shuāng) for pairs, 个(gè) generic

Pronunciation

Word	Phonetic	Tip
多少钱		"q" is palatal — like "ch" but further forward; "qián" = money
太贵了		4th, 4th, neutral. "guì" = expensive
便宜		2nd then 2nd tone. Means "cheap/inexpensive"

Grammar tip

了 (le) for completed action: Adding 了 after a verb shows a completed action or change of state: 我买了 (I bought/I'll buy it). It also marks new situations.
