Talking about your family:

Grammar tip

Mon/Ma/Mes: Possessive adjectives agree with the noun, not the owner. "My sister" = ma sœur (feminine). "My brother" = mon frère (masculine). Before a vowel sound, always use mon: mon amie (my friend, even if female).
